DAVID LINERS
I’ve spent nearly four decades serving communities as a pastor, community organizer, and nonprofit leader. At the heart of everything I do is listening, leading with compassion, and building real relationships, whether that means walking alongside neighbors during tough moments or helping lead statewide efforts to create positive change.
My wife Julie and I have called Milwaukee home for almost 30 years, where we raised our family and put down deep roots in the community. Now, I’m ready to bring my lifelong commitment to service, collaboration, and thoughtful leadership to Madison.

WE CAN'T AFFORD BUSINESS AS USUAL.
Wisconsin can do better, starting with fully funding public schools so communities aren’t forced to rely on property taxes and endless referendums just to get by. The focus is on making the wealthiest residents and corporations pay their fair share, investing in renewable energy instead of costly data centers that drive up utility bills, and building an economy that works for everyday people.
Real community safety comes from strong mental health care, addiction treatment, youth programs, and reducing poverty, not just incarceration. Every person deserves dignity, inclusion, and respect. Justice, compassion, and community guide this campaign and will shape the work ahead in Madison.

It’s a district built on small businesses, strong neighborhoods, faith communities, and public schools, and it deserves thoughtful leadership that listens, shows up, and works every day to make life better for the people who call this community home.
